Children’s Italian Language Class

The American Italian Cultural Center’s Italian Language Class for Children offers a safe and fun environment for your child to develop Italian language skills and foster a passion for Italian culture.

In our global society it is important for children to have the opportunity to learn multiple languages. Studies have shown that learning a foreign language enriches a child’s cognitive development which can enhance a child’s overall school performance.

Each class is organized around fun theme-based units that combine singing, movement, and arts & crafts. Lessons include, but are not limited to family, home, nature, and sports & hobbies.

Space is limited to a maximum of 10 students per class to ensure a low student-teacher ratio. All classes are led by a native Italian and have a friendly and motivating atmosphere.

This spring, the AICC has two concurrent sections: Piccoli (ages 5-8) and Grandi (ages 9-13). Classes will be held at the AICC on Friday afternoons from 4:00-5:00pm. The session includes 8 classes for $115. The spring session runs from April 21 – June 16. Class will not be held May 26 because of Memorial Day.
